almost-summer salad

almost-summer salad
It's hot. Too hot to cook. So throw some vegetables in a bowl, make a cold sandwich, and call it dinner.

1/2 medium head of red leaf (or green leaf) lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
2 small radishes, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp corn (fresh would've been more tasty, but canned requires no cooking)
1-inch cube of cotija cheese, crumbled
juice of 1/2 a lime
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp chopped cilantro
sprinkle of salt and pepper

Whisk the lime juice, olive oil, and cilantro together with a fork to make the dressing. Pour it over the rest of the stuff. Do I really need to give directions for this?

This is one cool (pun intended) salad. You gave it a very inviting touch...The ingredients all look so crunchy. I certainly can love this salad, tout à fait! Bon ap!!
